Yogyakarta Arts Festival 2012 Theme ‘Art for the People’
If you being in Yogyakarta, tomorrow June 20 to July 15, 2012 don’t miss the annual event the 14th “Yogyakarta Arts Festival (FKY) 2012 ‘, this festival will present about variety of Yogyakarta such as performing arts, fine arts and also arts booth stand.
FKY will accommodate all forms of public art appreciation, either through stand / stage performances and art from various regions in Yogyakarta.
The event will be held at Vredeburg fort with theme ‘Art for the People’. reason for choosing this theme is because FKY will accommodate all forms of public art appreciation, either through stand / stage performances and art from various regions in Yogyakarta, in addition the committee also accommodate the diverse communities that exist in the province to enliven the event.
FKY opening will be marked by a Arts parade starting from Malioboro to the zero kolometer point on Wednesday (20/6) at 15.00 pm. The plan Yogyakarta Governor Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X will open FKY this year with the theme of ‘Colorful Achievement of Yogya’.
