Borobudur Temple Break Guinness World Records Record

Exciting news from the Guinness World Record (GWR), a renowned institution of world record-breaking acclaimed that the Borobudur temple is the World Largest Buddhist Temple archaeological site on last June 27, with claim number 396-198. So now practically Borobudur entitled to use the logo GWR for its promotional activities.

President Director of Borobudur Prambanan Ratu Boko temple Tourism Park, Siswoprasetjo Purnomo, explained that it had received an official certificate from the GWR headquarters in London, UK.

Seeing the success, he also plans to enroll Prambanan Temple and Ramayana ballet to the GWR.

Borobudur registration process finally show the result for a certificate after spending 3 months. For the plan to submit registering Prambanan Temple to GWR, they are still doing the research to find a part that can be highlighted in order to claim the world record, while the Ramayana will be filed as the biggest dance with the most dancers and the most sustainable.
