Indonesia ‘the Best Performer’ Folk Dance in Turkey

Indonesian Arts team was awarded ‘the Best Performer’ at the 12th Gold Bridge Folk Dance Competition and International Büyükçekmece Culture & Art Festival, which is a folk dance festival in the resort town of Büyükçekmece, Turkey. The award was given to a team from Indonesia, represented by the Group Dance Svarnabhadaya Balawan Dipta of SMA Labschool Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

This achievement is expected to lift Indonesian tourism up, especially in Turkey regions, and International.

The festival took place on 25 June to 7 July, 2012. This achievement is expected to lift Indonesian tourism up, especially in Turkey regions, and International. Büyükçekmece itself is a coastal resort town on the shores of the Sea of ??Marmara, not far from Istanbul Blue Mosque, which is also a popular tourist attraction in Turkey.
