‘Wonderful Indonesia’ Present in 3 Cities in India

Based on Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) data from January to May 2012, foreign tourists from India increased to 11.4 percent of total foreign tourist arrivals which reached 3,180,779 visitors. That is why Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia want to increase the number of tourists from India with held a ‘Sales Mission India 2012′ programs in three cities, namely Benguluru, Ahmadebad, and Calcutta on the 23 to 27 July 2012.
We are targeting India Sales Mission 2012 generates business transaction valued at Rp 180 billion, an increase of 12.5% over last year.
In this event, 15 of Indonesia’s tourism industry will be met with buyers who are also a tourism business in India.
“We are targeting India Sales Mission 2012 generates business transaction valued at Rp 180 billion, an increase of 12.5% over last year,” said Nia Niscaya, Director of Tourism Promotion of Foreign Affairs in a release Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia.
Brand ‘Wonderful Indonesia’ will be strengthened in India in that event which it was originally opened by the Ambassador in New Delhi, Andi M Ghalib.
