‘Festival Dolanan Bocah’ Held in Solo
Department of Culture and Tourism of Solo city, Central Java, will be held 6-8 Festival Dolanan Bocah (Childern Game and Toys Fest) next May. In addition to foster intimacy, it was also intended as a means of moral cultivation.
“Because the festival of children be taught good manners, hospitality, and the ethics of good mix,”explained Chairman Mujiyono Festival Committee, told reporters in Solo, on Wednesday (4 / 5).
According to him, the festival will be followed by 20 groups from playing a studio and primary schools in five districts in the city. They will feature a variety of typical childerns game.
Because the aim to stimulate children to become more creative in creating their own game, says Mujiyono, the committee did not require a specific theme. Participants are welcome to express and create freely, to the extent consistent with the traditions of the people of Solo.
“Therefore, secured more complete and rich as compared with similar activities last year. If this year is successful, next year will be extended again, so that participants not only from Solo, but from other areas around it,” he said. (FR/OL-01)
